Report to Mount Ashfall

Mount Ashfall で Galanoth 及びドラゴンスレイヤー達と合流しましょう。

Travel to Mount Ashfall Camp

残念ながら Mount Ashfall Camp は join コマンド対象外地域ですので、今回は Upper Firefield のクリスタルを使用して移動します。転移したのち下へ降りてドラゴン Valek の後ろの赤褐色のクリスタルに近づくと、Mount Ashfall Camp にテレポートできます。

到着すると、マップの紹介ムービー “Volcano Camp” が流れます。このムービーは Galanoth の健在な間は彼のもとで再視聴可能です。

ムービーが終わったら Galanoth に話しかけましょう。カットシーンが入ります。

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: DragonSlayers! This will be our greatest hunt! Our enemy, Talyn, awaits us deep with this volcano. His draconic minions and traps are all that stand between us and ultimate glory. For Talyn intends to awaken our true target, the Great Fire Dragon… AKRILOTH. Yes, you have battled many dragons to get here… but none of you have faced a Great Dragon before. I have. Ten years ago, I fought Akriloth, the Great Dragon after he destroyed Kord’s village. The beast killed all of my DragonSlayers… every single one. Our battle was so bloody and long that death himself came to spectate, eagerly expecting to claim us both. … But as Akriloth’s flames burned and destroyed my body, my lance struck boldly, piercing one of his draconic hearts. With a roar the Great Fire Dragon retreated to the sky. I vowed to hunt him to the ends of Lore. We now know he is here, sleeping in the heart of this volcano, Mount Ashfall, waiting to be awoken by an offering of tributes. Of course, we have spoiled the tributes that Akriloth has demanded… Talyn will still use the FIRE ORB’s power to awaken the Great Fire Dragon. One way or another, Akriloth will at long least be slain.

Kord, DragonSlayer Commander: We’ve sent scouts into Mount Ashfall but none have yet returned. We don’t know what to expect inside the volcano so eyes open, DragonSlayers. Talyn has his dragon army and the Crimson Circle behind him. Also, Talyn’s a Dragonlord. If he uses the power of his dragon amulet to bind himself to to* Akriloth, he will be unstoppable. We must stop Talyn at all costs!

Galanoth: AKRILOTH is the target! Even if every last DragonSlayer falls in the battle, this Great Fire Dragon dies today!

Kord: Galanoth…

Galanoth: You have your orders. LET THE ULTIMATE DRAGON HUNT BEGIN!

ちなみに、Mount Ashfall は他の地域からだとこのように見えます。

Battle Through the Dragon’s Lair

Dragon’s Lair へ

Mount Ashfall 内部に進入しましょう。

案内にしたがってダンジョンの入り口に向かい。Dragon’s Lair (Story) 、Enter Solo Dungeon を選びましょう。スケーリングについては Unscaled の方が楽で良いです。

ステージ1 (ドラゴンの軍勢)

すべての敵を討伐しましょう。Gibbs 、Kord 、Galanoth 、Senna の援護も付きます。NPC の攻撃力はそれほど高くありませんが、敵に状態異常 (スタン、沈黙、攻撃力低下、防御力低下) をかけたりタゲを取ったりしてくれます。

Volcanic Red Dragonling, Volcanic Red Dragon

10匹の Volcanic Red Dragonling 及び2頭の Volcanic Red Dragon を倒しましょう。

敵をすべて倒すと、次のステージが開放されます。

ステージ2 (General Zelleth)

General Zelleth を倒しましょう。

General Zelleth

今回も NPC 4人の援護が付きます。

倒すと、次のステージが開放されます。

ステージ3 (別働隊を発す)

到着と同時に、カットシーンが入ります。

Gibbs, DragonSlayer: This place is like a maze!

Hero: Maybe we could cover more ground if we split up.

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: Let’s do it. Gibbs I want you to take a group right… Senna, take your team and scout the left passages.

Senna, DragonSlayer Quartermaster: Aye, Galanoth.

Galanoth: Kord and Hero … you are with me.

Gibbs: I hope I find Talyn first. I will avenge my sister’s deaths at his hands!

Galanoth: No. If you spot him, send one DragonSlayer back to alert the rest. Do not engage him. He will lead us to where Akriloth sleeps.

Gibbs: … Fine. But I won’t let Essa’s death go unanswered. Talyn’s mine.

Hero: Every second we waste, Talyn Gets closer to waking the Great Fire Dragon. Let’s go.

Emberzard, Volcanic Firezard, Firespine

カットシーンを読み終えたら戦闘開始です。Emberzard 7匹、Volcanic Firezard 4匹、Firespine 1頭を倒しましょう。

敵をすべて倒すと、次のステージが開放されます。

ステージ4 (資料室)

到着と同時に、カットシーンが入ります。

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: Some sort of library?

Kord, DragonSlayer Commander: It looks like it was a research room when the dwarves built it.

Hero: It looks like the Crimson Circle has taken it over.

Kord: Once we clear out the Crimson Circle, we should check the books for information on Akriloth.

Galanoth: Very well. But unless we plan on boring Akriloth to death with these books, we should get moving soon.

Crimson Summoner

先に邪魔な魔術師達を片付けましょう。Gibbs や Senna とは前のステージで別れたので、以降の援護は Kord と Galanoth の2人になります。

掃除が終わったら、ドラゴンに関する資料を集めましょう。強調表示されている書類や書物をタップすればOKです。

資料は全部で6つあります。情報収集を完了すると、次のステージに通じる扉が開きます。

ステージ5 (孵化場)

到着と同時に、カットシーンが入ります。

Hero: There are so many! If they hatch…

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: These are Great Dragon eggs! Smash them all. Destroy them now while we still can.

Hero: Hmmm, look there. One of the eggs is missing.

Kord: I saw that too. Maybe we’ll find it further in.

次のステージの入り口に向かいつつ、道の両側に散在する卵を破壊していきましょう。卵はタップすれば壊せます。

Volcanic Black Dragonling, Volcanic Green Dragonling, Volcanic Red Dragonling

卵を破壊すると、時折 Dragonling が出現します。倒しましょう。

Volcanic Red Dragonling, General Skellak

また Volcanic Red Dragonling や General Skellak が道を塞いでいるので、これも倒しましょう。

Rashhek 等は倒さずともよい

なお、扉の開放条件は敵の討伐ではないので、こちらに絡んでこない敵はわざわざ殴りに行かずとも大丈夫です。

ちなみに、Kord と Galanoth は放っておくと対岸のモブを追いかけて溶岩に突っ込み死亡しますが、別にゲームオーバーになったりはしません。

すべての卵を破壊すると、次のステージが開放されます。

ステージ6 (Crimson Circle の軍勢)

すべての敵を討伐しましょう。

Infernal Watcher, Crimson Summoner, Volcanic Warsworn

Infernal Watcher 5体、Crimson Summoner 5人、Volcanic Warsworn 1体 を倒しましょう。

Reach the 50% Checkpoint

ちなみに、Volcanic Warsworn の討伐が50%チェックポイントとなっています。

敵をすべて倒すと、次のステージが開放されます。

ステージ7 (Senna 救出へ)

Talyn と Senna が戦闘中

到着と同時に、短いムービーが流れます。

ムービーが終わったら戦闘開始です。すべての敵を討伐しましょう。

Volcanic Red Dragonling, Volcanic Red Dragon

Volcanic Red Dragonling 2匹、Volcanic Red Dragon 1頭を倒しましょう。

倒し終えると次のステージが開放され、同時にカットシーンが入ります。

Kord, DragonSlayer Commander: Galanoth! Senna is trapped over there!

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: Forget Senna. We must focus on the mission.

Hero: SHE NEEDS OUR HELP!

Galanoth: What you NEED is to follow orders. We are getting closer to Akriloth. I can feel it. We can’t afford distractions.

Kord: Galanoth, Senna is not a distraction… she’s a DragonSlayer. She’s one of us and I’m not going to leave her to die.

Galanoth: Kord, you’re about to make a mistake. Our prey is right ahead. Think carefully about the next thing you do.

Kord: I don’t need to think. There is only one choice.

Hero: I think I see a way to get to her. Follow me!

カットシーンを読み終えたら、次のステージに移動しましょう。

ステージ8 (溶岩下り)

マグマに浮かんでいる (？) 岩の上に降り立つ主人公と Kord

彼らの背後から…

Dravir が襲いかかる

到着と同時に、短いムービーが流れます。

Wave 1

ムービー終了後、敵が3回にわたって攻撃を仕掛けてきます。すべて撃退しましょう。援護の NPC は Kord だけです。

Wave 1 は Lair Dravir 3体です。

Wave 2

Wave 2 は Lair Dravir 2体、 Lair Dravir Commander 2体です。

Wave 3

Wave 3 は Volcanic Infernal 1体です。

Volcanic Infernal を倒すと、次のステージへのポータルが出現します。

ステージ9 (Dravir)

敵をすべて討伐しましょう。

Lair Dravir Commander, Volcanic Infernal

Lair Dravir Commander 2体、Volcanic Infernal 1体を倒しましょう。

敵をすべて倒したら、次のステージに向かいましょう。

ステージ10 (Senna と合流)

到着と同時に、カットシーンが入ります。

Senna, DragonSlayer Quartermaster: That was STUPID, Kord! You fell right into Talyn’s trap. Now you and Hero are stuck in… whatever this is… with me!

Hero: You know that they say… every problem is an opportunity in disguise.

Kord: Hero is right! We will fight back to back…

Senna: … to back…

Kord: … and walk out of here together.

Dragonlord Talyn, Evil Dragonlord: *slow clap* I sincerely doubt it. I had hoped for Galanoth himself, but you three will do.

Kord: What is this, Talyn?

Talyn: It’s an ARENA! I had arranged this for entertainment while the Crimson Circle awakens the Great Fire Dragon! But it seems Galanoth is wiser than you… a pity he did not fall for my trap. If any of you were more interesting I might have even stayed to watch. *sighs* Farewell.

Kord: You expect us to die here?

Talyn: Not right away. Now, if you’ll excuse me… I hear a group of your fellow DragonSlayers in the next chamber.

Hero: That must be Gibbs’s group!

Talyn: Wonderful. An opportunity to re-unite him with his sister… HAHAHA! Make sure you put up a good fight. My minions hate an easy meal.

カットシーンを読み終えると出入口が封鎖され、敵が波状攻撃を仕掛けてきます。すべて撃退しましょう。Kord に加え、Senna が援護してくれます。

Wave 1

Wave 1 は Lair Dravir 3体です。

Wave 2

Wave 2 は Volcanic Infernal 4体です。

Wave 3

Wave 3 は General Hakesh です。

General Hakesh を倒すと、扉が開きます。移動しましょう。

ステージ11 (Gibbs と合流)

Volcanic Warsworn

Volcanic Warsworn を倒しましょう。

倒すと、次のステージが開放されます。

扉の前に Gibbs 達が倒れています。彼らに近づくと、カットシーンが入ります。

Gibbs, DragonSlayer: Talyn was too strong. There were… so many of us… I thought we had him.

Hero: Dragonlord Talyn did this? By himself?!

Gibbs: I failed ESSA. My sister’s spirit will never rest easy.

Hero: Gibbs, you have my word, I WILL defeat Talyn.

Gibbs: You can’t! He’s… too strong… can’t stop him…

Kord: I’ve bound your wounds, Gibbs. He will live but we should not move him yet.

Senna, DragonSlayer Quartermaster: I’ll wait with Gibbs. You two go stop Talyn.

Hero: We’re splitting up again?

Kord: I don’t see any other way. We have to stop Talyn but if a guard patrol found Gibbs…

Hero: You’re right. Be careful Senna.

Senna: Me? I’m not the one about to fight the guy who just took out a battalion of DragonSlayers.

Hero: Good point. WE will be careful. Let’s go, Kord.

カットシーンを読み終えたら、次のステージに移動しましょう。

ステージ12 (ドラゴンの軍勢)

敵をすべて討伐しましょう。Senna は Gibbs の護衛に残ったので、再び Kord と2人っきりです。

Volcanic Red Dragonling, Volcanic Black Dragonling, General Zulkus

Volcanic Red Dragonling 3匹、Volcanic Black Dragonling 5匹、General Zulkus を倒しましょう。

ちなみに General Zulkus 討伐が90%チェックポイントとなっており、これを倒すとクエスト完了です。自動的に次のクエストが受注されます。

敵をすべて倒すと、次のステージが開放されます。

Into The Fire

最終ステージ

Dragonlord Talyn の野望を阻止しましょう。

Galanoth との不和

最終ステージに到着すると、カットシーンが入ります。

Kord: What?

Galanoth: I’ve waited to face the Great Fire Dragon for too long. Talyn will awaken Akriloth… and then I will destroy them BOTH!.*

Hero: Are you out of your mind Galanoth!? Let us pass.

Galanoth: NO! I will have my revenge. Do not get in my way, Hero… or I will be forced to take you down too.

Kord: Galanoth, I understand that you want revenge. I do too. It was MY village that Akriloth burned down, remember? I was just a kid, and the only survivor… We are fighting for more here than just our personal vendetta. Too much is at stake.

Galanoth: Kord, we are DragonSlayers! THIS IS WHAT WE LIVE TO DO! I pulled you from the ashes of Yorkke wearing only that fireproof blanket your mother wrapped around you. That same blanket that I’ve seen you wear as a cloak now… I raised you, boy! You are like a son to me. Is this the thanks I get? Betrayal?

Kord: I’m not betraying you. I’m being true to the DragonSlayer Order. The Order may have started around you, but we’re more than just tools for your revenge… We exists* to PROTECT people from dragons. You’re willing to risk more towns like mine burning to the ground… another Great Fire War… just to finish things with Akriloth. I can’t let that happen. There is more going on here than just your pride.

Galanoth: This is your only warning, Kord. Step aside or I’ll go through you.

Kord: Hero, go… Stop Dragonlord Talyn.

Hero: I will, Kord. Hold Galanoth here as long as you can.

Akriloth 第一戦

いよいよ本ストーリーのラスボス、Akriloth との戦いが始まります。ボスのスキルの効果範囲が見やすいように、視界を広くしましょう。

スキルはここに示すもの以外にもバリエーションがあります

スキルの効果範囲内に入らないように走り回りつつ、ボスの HP を削りましょう。低レベルのキャラクターで攻撃をくらってしまうと、おそらく直接ダメ + DOT でかなり削られます。

ボスとの第一戦を終えると、カットシーンが入ります。

Akriloth, Great Fire Dragon: THE DRAGONSLAYER?! HA HA HA… IT SEEMS I WAS BROUGHT A GIFT AFTER ALL.

Galanoth: You barely escaped with your hide last time, beast! I’ve killed dozens of your kind since then but my blade has dreamed of you.

Akriloth: YOU WILL BE A SUITABLE FIRST MEAL!

頷きあう Kord と主人公。

彼らの後方から…

Galanoth が飛び出す。

Akriloth は大口をあけて襲いかかるが、そこへ Galanoth がランスを投げ込む。

仰け反る Akriloth 。

一度着地した Galanoth は…

再び飛び上がり、二撃目を与える。

しかし空中で Akriloth に捕えられてしまう。

Akriloth は Galanoth を払うように投げ飛ばす。

Galanoth は岩山に衝突し、土煙が上がる。

残りの2人に向き直る Akriloth 。

Akriloth を見上げる主人公と Kord 。

一瞬気絶していた Galanoth だが、

意識を取り戻す。

ブレスの体勢をとる Akriloth と、戦いの構えをとる2人。

そこへ飛び込む Galanoth 。

Akriloth がブレスを吐く。

受け止める Galanoth 。

（行け）

手を差し出す Kord 。

（行くぞ！）

（早く！）

しばらく耐えていた Galanoth だが…

ついに力尽き、ブレスをもろに受けてしまう。

倒れ伏す Galanoth 。

Kord, DragonSlayer Commander: GALANOTH!

Hero: Stay Focused! Galanoth hurt him. We can finish this!

Kord: Right!

Akriloth 第二戦

第二戦が始まります。

Galanoth と Kord 。

ボスの名前が Akriloth から Akriloth Exposed に変化し、HPが上昇します。スキル構成も変わりますが、1発1発が痛い上にDOTを食らうのは第一戦と同じです。

Akriloth を倒すと、カットシーンが始まります。

Kord: We’ll talk after you heal, Galanoth.

Galanoth: No. Not… *cough*… healing from this. Have to say it now. You… were right. I let my pride… *cough*… blind me. You… Kord… You’re a true DragonSlayer.

Kord: Galanoth? GALANOTH!?

Hero: I’m sorry, Kord. He’s gone.

Kord: He sacrificed himself to save us. To make sure we could finish the Great Fire Dragon.

Senna, DragonSlayer Quartermaster: What are we going to do without him? What is the DragonSlayer Order with no Galanoth to lead us?

Kord: Hmm … You’re right, Senna…

Kord は少し考えたあと、Galanoth のヘルムを外し、

それを自ら被る。（Galanoth の素顔は実際にプレイしてからのお楽しみということで）

Kord, DragonSlayer Commander: Hear me, DragonSlayers. We have sacrificed much today, The Great Fire Dragon is dead but so is our leader. A new chapter starts for us today. Akriloth is gone but there are other evil dragons out there. We know that not all dragons are evil… but when they go bad, they become a threat that only a few can stop. Our order exists not to hunt dragons to extinction, but to protect innocents from these threats. Galanoth trained most of us and we will honor his memory by passing that training on to the next generation of our order. I promise you this: as long as there is a DragonSlayer Order… there will be a Galanoth to lead them!

Hero: Kord…

Senna, DragonSlayer Quartermaster: No… not anymore. Call him GALANOTH now!

Senna: ALL HAIL GALANOTH!

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: ALL HAIL THE DRAGONSLAYERS!

カットシーンを読み終えたらクエスト完了です。自動的に次のクエストが受注されます。

A New Beginning

Kord 改め Galanoth に話しかけましょう。

ポータルを通り Mount Ashfall Camp に移動しましょう。

Galanoth に話しかけると、カットシーン “A New Beginning” が始まります。このカットシーンは Galanoth (二代目) のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader: Thanks. But I’m Galanoth now.

Hero: That will take a little getting used to.

Hero: Now that Akriloth has been defeated, what’s next for the DragonSlayers?

Galanoth: Akriloth was a Great Fire Dragon. His defeat means the other dragons will be scrambling for the scraps of his power.

Hero: That will keep them busy for a while, but will also make them unpredictable.

Galanoth: That’s right. We will use their confusion to keep them off balance. We will use what time we have to regain our strength and rebuild our numbers. We will tell the stories of those who fell in this battle to the next generation to learn from their mistakes. We will tell the stories of those who won this battle to inspire them. You will be a big part of that story.

Hero: What of Talyn? Have you recovered his body?

Galanoth: No. After Akriloth tossed his body aside, it fell into the volcano’s lava.

Hero: Good riddance to bad rubbish. At least Gibbs can rest. His sister has been avenged.

Hero: Will you keep hunting dragons?

Galanoth: Yes. At least those that need to be hunted. Hunting them all is wasteful and risks the lives of good DragonSlayers for too little gain. Dragons are powerful and dangerous… but perhaps not always evil.

Hero: That’s a very different path from the one that the first Galanoth took.

Galanoth: I’m a very different Galanoth.

Hero: I’m glad to hear it.

Hero: You’re a great leader. We’re lucky to have you as our Galanoth.

Hero: If the DragonSlayers ever need me, just call. I’ll be there.

Galanoth: The DragonSlayers can ALWAYS use people like you. SENNA has a lot for you to do, if you’re interested.

Galanoth: May the fates smile on us both until next we meet, Hero.

Speak to Dell

Talyn が Magma Mines に現れたとのこと。まずは現地のドラゴンスレイヤー、Dell のもとへ向かいましょう。

鉱山に転移すると、マップの紹介ムービー “Magma Mines Intro” が流れます。このムービーは Dell のところで再視聴可能です。

ムービーが終わったら、Dell に話しかけましょう。カットシーン “Magma Mines” が始まります。このカットシーンは Dell のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Dell, DragonSlayer: Is it true? Did Dragonlord Talyn kill Essa?

Hero: Yes. Kord said he was headed this way.

Dell: I haven’t seen him but that doesn’t mean much. These mines are a maze. This is an old Dwarven gem mine. Talyn is having his servants gather treasure for a Tribute.

Hero: What happened to the dwarves?

Dell: They were gone long before Talyn arrived. Not sure what drove them off. The people of Brimston were working out how to use the Dwarves’ lava powered machines. But then, the dravir took the village and Talyn put Steelfang in charge of the mines.

Hero: What can you tell me about Steelfang?

Dell: He’s a drake. They are related to dragons but dragons consider drakes low creatures. If Dragonlord Talyn put him in charge here, he must have proven his worth.

Hero: OK. So, what’s the plan? Destroy the treasure before Talyn can claim it?

Dell: That would be a waste. No… We’re going to steal this stolen treasure and use it to support the DragonSlayers. But first we have to stop the Dwarven tech from exploding!

Hero: Wait… the mines are going to BLOW UP!?

Dell: Yes. Steelfang cares nothing about the dwarven lava tech. He’s been careless with it. If the lava engine goes, it takes half of Ashfall with it!

Hunt Shard Pebblars

Dell の持っている知識だけではドワーフの機械を修理するのに不十分なので、修復方法の記されたスクロールを集めてきてほしい。Shard Pebblar が巣の素材として使っているから、彼らから入手できるだろう、とのこと。

機関の修理に取り掛かりましょう。

矢印にしたがって下へ降りると広間に出ます。修復対象の機械は左手にあります。

修復する部位は全部で5箇所です。

Part 1

指示された箇所をタップしていけば修理できます。Part 1 (歯車) は一目瞭然です。

Part 2

Part 2 (配管) は少し難しいです。視点をやや上にしてタップすると反応しやすい気がします。

Part 3 は機械の基部のパーツです。

修理が無事完了し Ashfall の半分が吹き飛ぶ恐れもなくなったので、次は Talyn の財宝を貰い受けにいきます。まずは宝物庫の前で頑張っている Steelfang を討ち、鍵を手に入れましょう。

Hero: I’ve got another idea. I’m going to donate it to the DragonSlayer Orphanage to honor Essa’s memory.

Dell: Oh yeah… she and Gibbs grew up there, didn’t they? This treasure could go a long way toward making their lives more comfortable. That’s a great idea, Hero. I think Essa would love it. I’ll see that it’s done.

Hero: Thanks, Dell. Any word from the camp?

Dell: Yes! Kord sent a letter saying that Talyn was seen in Tower Pass just an hour ago.

Hero: WHAT?! You’re telling me this NOW!

Dell: Yeah, sorry. Priorities.

Hero: You know me?

Reese: Sure. Word travels fast amongst the DragonSlayers. People are starting to talk about you and what you’ve done in Ashfall. After seeing the army of infernals plow through here I was starting to lose hope… but if half of what people say is true, we stand a shot of saving Lore from Talyn and the Great Fire Dragon.

Hero: So you saw the Crimson Circle’s army?

Reese: Yes. They attacked the Guardian Tower for three days and nights.

Hero: Did you fight with them?

Reese: Yes, again. There were only a handful of them but you should have seen them fight. I’ve never seen anything like it. They held off wave after wave of that army. Then… some type of horned creature that I’ve never seen joined the fight. These monsters went blow for blow with the Guardians. Equals in power. The Guardians told me I had to escape to let Galanoth know…

Hero: Know what?

Reese: They said that Talyn MUST not obtain the Secret of the Tower… what it was protecting.

Hero: What was it?

Reese: I don’t know. That was when I had to make my break for it. I haven’t been able to get back to the Guardian Tower to even check. Something happened to the Drakimps and Lava Worms on this plateau. They went mad. They’ve been digging holes and gouges in the plateau, destabilizing it. If they aren’t stopped, Tower Pass including the Guardian Tower will crumble into the lava!

Hero: Then we need to stop the creatures from digging and get into that tower!

おかしくなったモンスターは皆、頭部に何らかの水晶を埋め込まれていました。彼らはこれを通して操られているようです。周辺の祭壇 (Lava Worm Shrine) を用いて結界を張り、精神操作魔法を打ち破りましょう。

モンスターの状態が平常に復し、Guardian Tower への道が開けました。塔の様子を調べに行きましょう。

案内にしたがい、塔に向かいましょう。洞窟を抜けていくと早いです。

塔の手前に目印が表示されており、それに近づくとカットシーン “The Reckoning” が始まります。このカットシーンは Reese のところでもう一度見ることができます。

Talyn: That is true. You won some battles but you have lost the war. When the Great Fire Dragon came to Ashfall, it left instructions for its awakening. It demanded that four Tributes would be offered when it awoke from its healing sleep… The Tribute of an army with which to conquer… The Tribute of a meal for it would be hungry after its long sleep… The Tribute of riches for dragons loving nothing so much as gold… And The Tribute of the Fire Orb. The only thing with the power to wake it. I HAVE THE FIRE ORB! The others were only to appease The Great Fire Dragon. As soon as he wakes, I will bind us with the power of my Dragon Amulet. Once my new slave and I conquer Lore, it can have as many tributes as it likes!

Hero: Talyn, you can’t do this! It’s insane! The last time, the Great Fire Dragon would have burned everything if Galanoth hadn’t driven it off.

Talyn: And how pleased will it be to slay its old foe! You’ve lost, Hero. The Great Fire Dragon will be mine and Lore will die in a screaming Inferno! НАНАНАНАНАНАНА!

Report to Wulf

Talyn や Great Fire Dragon に対処する前に、Kord とともに The Slabs の ドラゴンスレイヤー、Wulf のもとへ向かい、Crimson Circle について調査せよ、とのこと。

Lay of the Land

Crimson Circle の設置した3つの召喚門を確認しましょう。

Find three summoning portals

少々分かりにくいですが、矢印にしたがっていくとこのような召喚門 (summoning portal) に着きます。目印があるので、その上を通ればOKです。ただし途中でモブにかなり殴られます。

終わったら Wulf に報告しましょう。

Just Ask

他の軍勢の行方について、Crimson Circle の魔術師を数人捕らえ、訊問せよとのこと。後始末(・・・)を忘れずに。

ちなみに “(terminate) with extreme prejudice” というフレーズは、処刑する、抹殺する、処分する、始末するといった意味です。1969年の Green Beret Affair の報道をきっかけに広まったとされる表現*で、戦争ものやクライムサスペンス等でよく使われます。

*言い回しの意味はともかく、由来に関してはソースは Wikipedia 英語版なので、話半分でお願いします

“Question” Crimson Conjurors

Crimson Conjuror を6人倒しましょう。リーダーズ英和辞典等によれば、conjuror というのは魔術師、特に何かを喚び出す・出現させる者をいうようです。

終わったら Wulf に報告しましょう。「/join slabs」等でスポーン地点に直接飛べば、モブに絡まれることもありません。

Find the Tome

軍勢の行方に関する直接的な情報は得られませんでしたが、魔術師の一人が、どこか別の場所に対する攻撃があり、その情報は彼らの魔導書に記録してあると教えてくれました。都合のいいことにそのうちの1冊が無防備なまま置かれているとのことで、Kord と内容を覗きにいきましょう。

Hero: I’ll go to Ashfall’s Guardian Tower.

Kord: No, Hero. I believe that Guardians can hold their own. There are other DragonSlayers who need your help after you have closed those portals.

Wulf: You need to destroy the Warsworn and stop the Crimson Circle.

Hero: I’ve seen the Warsworn at the portals. What are they?

Wulf: Huge infernal fiends. They were summoned first and bound by the Circle to control their army. But the tome said that if they are destroyed, the portals will close and the army have no leader. The army fall into chaos and return to their home dimension. The Warsworn are your target.

Hero: On it.

Kord: Good luck, Hero. I’ll see you both back at camp.

Brimston に転移すると、マップの紹介ムービーが流れます。

ムービーが終わったら Essa に話しかけましょう。カットシーン “Brimston” が始まります。このカットシーンは Essa (あるいは Essa’s Momument*) のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Essa, DragonSlayer: You’re Hero, aren’t you? Blade and Book! I’m glad to see you! I’ve heard how you helped my brother, Gibbs, in the Lower Firefields and the other DragonSlayers!

Hero: Your brother is a brave DragonSlayer. It was an honor to fight beside him.

Essa: Be honest. Did he try and blow you up?

Hero: Only a little.

Essa: That’s my brother, alright. Our parents told me to keep him out of trouble.

Essa: We were… but that was before the dragon… After that, we were raised in the DragonSlayer Orphanage they set up for kids like us. Anyway, we’re both DragonSlayers now and we have a job to do.

Hero: What happened here? A war?

Essa: Dragonlord Talyn. Ashfall was never a welcoming place but these people had carved out a live for themselves in Brimston. Talyn’s servants, the dragon Malthas and his dravir captured them all and caged them like animals.

Hero: I have never known dravir to take prisoners.

Essa: They don’t. First the Crimson Circle’s army is sent to attack the Ashfall Guardian Tower…

Hero: …Now dragons and dravir taking a whole village of prisoners. None of it adds up.

Essa: Dragonlord Talyn has to be stopped but right now my concern is for these people. You help me free them and stop Malthas and I’ll help you figure out Talyn’s plans.

Hero: Deal. Let’s do it.

主人公「Dravir が捕虜をとるなんて聞いたことがないな」
Essa「ええ。はじめに Crimson Circle の軍勢が Ashfall Guardian Tower に攻め寄せ…」
主人公「今度はドラゴンと dravir が町1つの人間を丸ごと捕虜にしていると。訳がわからない」
Essa「Talyn は止めなければなりませんが、私が今心配なのはここの人々のことです。彼らを解放し、Malthas を止めるのを助けてください。私も Talyn の計画の調査を手伝いますから」
主人公「決まりだな。やろう」

カットシーンを読んだら、クエスト完了です。

Fools Rush In

町中の檻を調べて、開けられそうか試してきてほしいとのこと。

檻をタップすればOKです。

別に指示された順番通りに回らなくても大丈夫なので、特にキャラのレベルがあまり高くない場合はできるだけモブを迂回して移動しましょう。

時計回りのルートの例

Cage 1 を確認したら、その右側を通って

Cage 3 をチェック。

モブを迂回して Cage 4 へ向かい、

これもタップ。そのまま真っ直ぐ進み、

最後に Cage 2 をチェックして終了。

4つ目まで調べ終えたら、「/join brimston」等でスポーン地点に戻りましょう。

Essa に報告して終わりです。

Misdirection

Essa が檻の開錠に取り組む間、Dravir Soldier の注意を引いておいてほしいとのこと。

Slay Dravir Soldiers

Dravir Soldier を7体倒しましょう。緑色のモブです。Dravir (赤や青のモブ) はクエスト対象外なのでご注意ください。

終わったら Essa に報告しましょう。檻の方はダメでしたが、主人公が何かを見つけたようです。

The High Ground

主人公が Dravir から手に入れた覚書によれば、本日 Talyn が “the Tribute” の視察に現れるようです。これだけだとなんのこっちゃって感じなので、詳しい話を盗み聞きしてきてくださいとのこと。

Malthas の手前、丘の頂に目印があるので、そこに立てばOKです。上の画像で私のいる辺りから飛び降りるようにして真っ直ぐ向かうとモブに絡まれにくいかと思います。到着すると、カットシーン “Four Tributes” が始まります。このカットシーンは Essa (あるいは Essa’s Momument) のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Bars Can’t Stop Us

牢獄かと思いきや牧場でした。一刻も早く人々を解放しなければなりません。Dravir Soldier から檻の鍵を奪いましょう。

Find Keys on Soldiers

Dravir Soldier を倒して回りましょう。鍵は確定ドロップではありません。

4つ揃ったら Essa に報告しましょう。

Fast Food

奪った鍵を使い、檻から人々たちを解放しましょう。

このクエストは初見だとちょっと分かりにくいかもしれません。まずは、Brimston Ruins の最初のクエストと同様に、檻をタップしましょう。

檻を開くと、人々が順番に脱出していきます。並行して Dravir あるいは Dravir Soldier が1体ずつスポーンするので、倒しましょう。ちなみに、モブの出現回数 = 囚われている人々の数です。

クエスト中に出現するモブ以外を倒しても意味はありません。キャラのステータスが低い場合は特に、必要のない戦闘を避けるためにも、出現の瞬間を見逃さないようにしましょう。なお、モブの出現地点は檻ごとに固定です。

また、その檻に囚われている人をすべて逃すまでは、所定のエリアから出ることができません。檻の前を離れると、画像のような警告が表示されます。警告を無視し続けた場合、初めからやり直しになります。

全員の脱出が完了すると、Congratulations! All prisoners escaped safely! と表示されます。次の檻に向かいましょう。

他の檻に関しても同様です。Second Cell のモブの出現位置は上に示した通りです。

モブの出現回数は3回です。

Fourth Cell のモブの出現位置は上に示した通りです。

こちらも敵が3回湧きます。

Third Cell のモブの出現位置は上に示した通りです。

他と異なり、モブの出現回数は2回です。

4つの檻すべての解放を終えたら、Essa に報告しましょう。Brimston Emblem Cape (防具・背) をもらえます。

Malthas Falls

仕上げに Malthas を倒しましょう。Malthas と Talyn の会話を盗み聞きしたときと同様に向かえばモブに絡まれにくいはずです。

DragonSlayer Tent に戻り、Essa の死を Galanoth に報告しましょう。

Hero: It’ll be my pleasure to ruin his day. He just made this personal.

Lower Firefields の Dragonslayer Gibbs に会いにいきましょう。

Lower Firefield には DragonSlayer Camp から歩いていっても良いんですが、面倒なので、スラッシュコマンド「/join lowerfirefield」で転移しましょう。

Gibbs, DragonSlayer

Gibbs に話しかけると、カットシーン “Talk” が始まります。このカットシーンは Gibbs のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Gibbs, DragonSlayer: HALT! Whoever you are… tell me Senna sent you with some buns.

Hero: Sorry… no buns. I’m Hero. Kord sent me to help you. He thinks I’m ready.

Gibbs: Let’s hope so. Welcome to The Lower Firefields. I’m Gibbs. We need to get to the Upper Firefields but we have to get past a bunch of monsters and a Lava Lord called Gorm to get there.

Hero: Just us? Shouldn’t Galanoth have sent more people?

Gibbs: Couldn’t spare them. Dragonlord Talyn has cut off all the DragonSlayers in the other parts of Ashfall. If we don’t find a way past Gorm we’ll lose all those other DragonSlayers overnight. Galanoth says “If you can’t handle this, you’re not fit to be a DragonSlayer. Get it done”.

Hero: That seems harsh.

Gibbs: You don’t need to tell me. My sister, Essa, is one of the DragonSlayers trapped out there with no support. But Galanoth knows what he’s doing… and so do we. Let’s get Gorm.

Gibbs「Galanothには『この程度もできないようなら、貴様は最早ドラゴンスレイヤーではない。さっさとやれ』と言われている」
主人公「そりゃちょっと厳しいんじゃないか」
Gibbs「言わんでいい。孤立しているドラゴンスレイヤーの中には俺の姉貴の Essa もいるが、Galanoth は彼自身が何をやっているのか理解した上でそうしている。俺たちだってそうだ。さあ、Gorm をどうにかしよう」

Probing

Gibbs「連中の防衛線に穴を開けよう。（これまでも）何日も Lava Globs や Drakimp を倒して奴らの弱点を探ってきたんだが、運がなくてな。だが、俺たち(・・)でやれば隙が見つかるかもしれん」

Gibbs「作戦変更だ！奴らの防衛線を爆破しよう。そのためには爆弾の材料が必要だな。まずは Drakimp のツノを集めてきてくれ。硝酸塩が特に豊富なものを5本頼む」

必要な分が集まるまで Drakimp を狩ります。

十分揃ったら Gibbs に報告しましょう。

Sulfur, So Good

Gibbs「次は硫黄だな。これに関しては探すのは簡単だろう。Lava Globs を倒すと少量の硫黄が残る。ただ爆弾の製造には結構な量が必要だな」

Lava Globs を倒して硫黄を収集します。

8つ集まったら Gibbs に報告しましょう。

Charred Trees

最後に集める素材は木炭です。周辺の黒焦げの木々から採集しましょう。

木炭集めは、木をタップすればOKです。岩の上を歩いたりして Lava Globs から常に距離を取っていれば邪魔されずに済みます。大体の木には判定があります。こんな小さいのなら流石にないでしょ…と思うような木ですら、ちゃんと採取できるのでご安心ください。

12集まったら Gibbs に報告しましょう。

Place the Bombs

爆弾が完成したので、設置して回りましょう。

目印の場所をタップすれば爆弾を配置できます。置くのは殴られながらでも可能なので、HP的に問題なければ Lava Globs をいちいち倒さずとも OK です。

10ヶ所完了したら、Gibbs に報告しましょう。カットシーンが始まります。

Cains: Valek is the red dragon below. He’s likely in charge of Dragonlord Tayln’s* army here in the Firefields. It’s OUR job to do whatever we can to trip him up, slow him down and make his life suck.

Hero: How do we do that?

Cains: However we can! Come on, No Name! I’ve never had an intern before. This will be fun!

Deep Shame

Valek の配下の種族の1つ、Phan のうち何人かを襲って角をもぎ、彼らの士気を下げてやろう、とのこと。

Fire Phan を15人倒しましょう。

終わったら Cains に報告しましょう。

Important Information

伝令役の Phan を探し出して倒し、メッセージを Valek が Talyn にすぐに来てほしいと頼んでいる内容のものとすり替えてきてくれ、とのこと。

伝令役が見つかるまで Fire Phan を倒して回りましょう。

終わったら Cains に報告しましょう。

Zard Day’s Night

Valek 軍で警備犬のような役割を担っている Firezard をいくらか倒し、Talyn の到着時に防衛線が手薄になっているようにしておこう、とのこと。

Firezard (左) と Chorty (右)

Firezard を15匹倒しましょう。ちなみに、Chorty は同じトカゲ型のモブですが、このクエストの対象ではありません。

終わったら Cains に報告しましょう。

Get Chorty

Firezard のアルファ (群のリーダー的な個体) の Chorty を倒せば、残りは烏合の衆になるんじゃないか、とのこと。

Slay Chorty

Chorty を1匹倒しましょう。

終わったら Cains に報告しましょう。

Spy On Valek

ついに Talyn が現れました。できるだけ彼らに近づき、Valek との会話を盗聴して、有益な情報を得てきてほしいとのこと。

Valek (ボス) の前に目印があるので、そこに立てばOKです。このゲームに落下ダメはないので、上から飛び降りましょう。目印に着くと、カットシーン “Spy On Valek” が始まります。このカットシーンは Cains のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Travel → Ashfall → Upper Firefield

カットシーンを読み終えたら、Cains のもとへ戻りましょう。斜面をのんびり登っていってもいいですが、面倒なので、「メインメニュー → Travel → Ashfall → Upper Firefield」や、スラッシュコマンド「/join upperfirefield」等でスポーン地点に転移してしまいましょう。

Cains に報告して完了です。

Framing Firezards

Valek の配下がドラゴンの卵を割ったように見せかける方針となりました。まずは Firezard の牙を集めましょう。

Get large Firezard fangs

大きい牙限定とあることから分かるように、確定ドロップではないので、5本落ちるまでトカゲを倒す必要があります。

揃ったら Cains に報告しましょう。

Framing Phans

同様に、Phan を倒して短剣を奪いましょう。

Collect handmade Phan daggers

こちらも確定ドロップではありません。

10本揃ったら Cains に報告しましょう。

For The Shell Of It

ドラゴンの卵を8つ破壊しましょう。

Break the dragon eggs

このクエスト中のみ、マップ中にドラゴンの卵が出現します。卵をタップすれば破壊できます。

卵を破壊すると、Dragon Whelp が出現します。倒しましょう。

なお、卵は一度破壊しても時間経過で同じ場所にリポップするので、そんなにあちこち探し回らなくても大丈夫です。ちなみに、リポップした卵からは Dragon Whelp は現れません。

終わったら Cains に報告しましょう。

Start a war!

Phan と Firezard はお互いを疑っており、一触即発の状態です。もう一押し加えてやろうということで、Phan と Firezard をそれぞれぶん殴って回りましょう。

Phan を10人、Firezard を10匹倒しましょう。

終わったら Cains に報告しましょう。破壊工作成功です！

Slay Valek

それでは Valek を倒しましょう。

Valek に近づくと、カットシーン “TALYN’S MIGHT” が始まります。このカットシーンは Cains のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

DragonSlayer Tent の Galanoth のもとへ、直接報告しに向かいましょう。

Dragons of Ashfall

Ashfall のメインストーリーの開始地点である DragonSlayer Camp への転移方法をいくつか挙げます。

• Adventure Menu → Main Story → Ashfall → Go to Ashfall
• メインメニュー → Ashfall → DragonSlayer Camp
• スラッシュコマンド「/join dragonslayer camp」

いつもと同様、Ashfall のムービーやカットシーンについても、

• ストーリーをクリアした後、もう一度見ることができるもの
• 途中までは当該 NPC のところで再視聴できるが、ある時点から NPC の死亡・移動等で不可能になるもの
• 一度しか見ることのできないもの

の3種類があります。今回の一連の記事に関してはスクリプト（原文）もできる限り掲載しました。なお、主人公の名前はすべて Hero に置き換えてあります。（一部については意訳も載せましたが、途中で力尽きている上に相変わらずの素人翻訳なので…）

DragonSlayer Camp 編

The DragonSlayer Camp

Ashfall Intro

DragonSlayer Camp に到着すると、自動的に最初のクエスト “The DragonSlayer Camp” が受注され、同時にムービー “Ashfall Intro” が流れます。このムービーは、同地域にいる DragonSlayer Guard の Kern のところで再視聴できます。

ムービーの概要です。クリックすると開きます

1人のドラゴンスレイヤーが Dravir と戦っている。

それを眺める謎の人物と一頭のドラゴン。

謎の人物はドラゴンスレイヤーの方へ顎をしゃくる。指示を受け、ドラゴンが飛び立つ。

Dravir を退けたドラゴンスレイヤー。その背後よりドラゴンが襲いかかる。ドラゴンスレイヤーは初撃を凌ぎ、そのまま激しい戦闘になる。

場面が切り替わる。ついにドラゴンはドラゴンスレイヤーによって倒された。

しかし突然、すぐ側に謎の人物が現れる。

慌てて斬りかかるドラゴンスレイヤー。しかし、その刃はガントレットで受け止められてしまった。

そのまま謎の人物は左手でドラゴンスレイヤーの襟首を掴んで持ち上げ、もがく彼を崖へ連れてゆく。崖の下は溶岩の海である。

Talyn, Evil Dragonlord: I should thank you, DragonSlayer. With my dragon dead, I am free to use the power of my Dragon Amulet to bind myself to a new beast. Once I have awoken the Great Fire Dragon in the volcano, and bound it to my will… This world will BURN! …and there’s nothing you, nor the DragonSlayers can do to stop me.

Talyn はドラゴンスレイヤーを放り出す。

ドラゴンスレイヤーは灼熱のマグマへと落ちてゆく。

ムービーとカットシーンが終わったら、指示に従って Dragonslayer Guard に話しかけましょう。話しかけると、カットシーン “Talk” が始まります。

この Dragonslayer Guard の名前は Kern です。また “Talk” に関しても彼のところで同様に見返すことができます。

Hero: Hunt… Dragons?

DragonSlayer Guard: What? You don’t know? The guy’s a living legend! He’s the greatest DragonSlayer who ever lived! Our leader’s name is Galanoth. Find him in our command tent.

Galanoth に面会するため天幕に向かいましょう。

Galanoth, DragonSlayer Leader

DragonSlayer Tent の Galanoth に話しかけると、カットシーン “Welcome to Ashfall” が始まります。このカットシーンは Galanoth の健在な間は彼のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Hero: You must be Galanoth, the legendary DragonSlayer.

Galanoth: Legend? Hah. I’m just here to kill Dragons.

Galanoth: I never asked anyone to follow me. But they’ve all suffered horribly at the hands of these beasts.

Kord, Commander: True. Every slayer in this camp would follow Galanoth into the fires of the underworld.

Hero: So you all banded together to hunt all the Dragons around this Volcano?

Galanoth: No. We are here to hunt every Dragon in the world to extinction.

Hero: You want to kill EVERY dragon? Not just the evil ones?

Galanoth: Don’t delude yourself. These monsters view us as playthings at best, at worst… food. My weapon will swing until every dragon is dead and rotting… with their heads mounted on my wall. If you brought mercy or pity to Ashfall, then you should stand aside… But if your weapon is strong enough to slay dragons, then commander Kord will give your first mission.

Hero: A dragon hunt? Count me in.

Kord: Senna is our Quartermaster. Go outside and talk to her for weapons, armor, and food.

Galanoth: My hunt’s ultimate goal is the Great Fire Dragon inside the Volcano. Let no monster, man, or obstacle get in my way.

Quartermaster Senna

補給係将校 (quartermaster) の Senna を探しましょう。彼女は天幕のすぐ外にいます。

話しかけると、カットシーン “Setting up Camp” が始まります。このカットシーンは Senna のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Senna Buns

周辺に積まれた物資の中からバンの入った箱を見つけるのを手伝ってほしい、とのこと。

Collect Senna Buns

周りの箱や樽のうち、キラキラしているものをタップして回りましょう。対象ではない箱を調べると…「悪臭を放つ箱。ドラゴンの糞が詰まっている」

なお、たとえ一度調査したものであっても判定は時間経過で復活します。

バンを集め終えたら Senna に報告しましょう。話しかけると、カットシーン “Buns” が始まります。このカットシーンは Senna のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

カットシーンを読んだら、クエスト完了です。報酬に Senna Bun 5個をもらえます。

DrickenSlayer

勝手に逃げ出して勝手に丸焼けになった Dricken を12羽捕まえましょう。

Roasted Dricken

周辺の Roasted Dricken を倒して回りましょう。ちなみに、Roasted Dricken から落ちる Burnt Meat は、Fancy Health Potion や Fancy Mana Potion の材料にもなります。これらは Senna のところで製作できます。

12羽倒したら Senna に報告しましょう。DrickenSlayer Cape (防具・背) をもらえます。

Imp-ossibile

武器や鎧の耐熱性を上げるのに使う Drakimp の bile (胆汁？) の在庫が残り少ないので、Drakimp の腺を6つ採取してきてほしいとのこと。

Drakimp

Drakimp を倒して回りましょう。確定ドロップではないので、大抵6体以上狩ることになります。

集め終えたら Senna に報告しましょう。話しかけると、カットシーン “Senna’s Story” が始まります。このカットシーンは Senna のもとでもう一度読むことができます。

Hero: Senna, how long have you been with the DragonSlayers?

Senna: He doesn’t talk about his past but I’ve heard rumors. They say his family was killed and village destroyed by a Great Fire Dragon years ago.

Hero: That explains a lot. Did he ever catch it?

Senna: Yes. There was a long battle and both of them nearly killed each other. The Great Fire Dragon ran away to rest and heal. Galanoth spent years training and hunting every dragon he could find, tracking that one. He’s finally tracked it here. It’s sleeping inside the heart of Mount Ashfall, the volcano. Along the way he saved who he could and got a bunch of followers he never asked for. The DragonSlayer Order kind of formed around him, learning from him. Following his lead.

Hero: Did he save you?

Senna: Yes, seven years ago. I wanted to repay him so I started helping the DragonSlayers however I could. Then I became one. I’ve always been good at finding things so Kord made me quartermaster.

Hero: It was a good call. This camp is really shaping up. So, what’s next?

Senna: Young dragons are called Dragonlings. One of them has been spying on our camp. Think you can take it out? If you succeed the DragonSlayers will really take notice.

Kord, DragonSlayer Commander: Excellent work on slaying that dragonling. We haven’t officially met yet. I’m Kord, Galanoth’s second in command. He is our leader but the day to day operations of keeping the DragonSlayer camp running fall to me.

Hero: Galanoth seems pretty intense.

Kord: He has good reason to be. Years of hunting down dragon after dragon, they have all lead here to Ashfall and to Dragonlord Talyn.

Hero: Dragonlord Talyn?

Kord: Dragonlords are a special breed of warrior who bind themselves to a dragon with the power of a Dragon Amulet. Together, the Dragonlord and their dragon fight side by side as one becoming more than the sum of their parts… as if dragons weren’t dangerous enough on their own. Talyn’s dragon was just slain by one of the other DragonSlayers in single combat but he gave his life to do it.

Hero: That’s a terrible sacrifice but it’s good news for the DragonSlayers, right?

Kord: Maybe. Dragonlord Talyn has bigger plans. I’m just not sure how we fit into them yet. Whatever his plans are, they aren’t good.

Hero: Maybe I can help.

Kord: I’m glad you said that. You just came from Doomwood, right? So you must be pretty good at slaying undead. Hero: I could teach classes on it. Kord: The undead keep pouring out of Doomwood and ending up in our camp. They stumble into the lava but that just makes them more dangerous. Can you slay a bunch of them, then use their skulls to set up magical wards around the camp?

Kord「君は Doomwood から来たんだろう？ならアンデッドの対処は得意なんじゃないか？スケルトンの一部がこちらに迷い込んできているようでね。君が彼らの頭蓋骨を少々集めてきてくれたら、それを使って一帯にアンデッド避けを張ることができるんだが」

Charred Undead (黒焦げになったアンデッド) を倒して回りましょう。確定ドロップではありません。

6つ集まったら、クエスト完了です。

Kord「良いね！それじゃ、そいつを槍先に刺して、野営地の周囲に配置してくれたまえ。本来であればドラゴンの首を使いたいところだが、こいつでもそれほど強くないスケルトン等であれば効果がある」

マーカーが9ヶ所表示されるので、そこをタップして回りましょう。自分のときは初めバグって目印が出なかったんですが、問題をググってる間放置していたらいつの間にか出ていました。

すべて設置し終えたら、テントに戻り、Kord に報告しましょう。報酬に Forged Ashbrand Pauldrons (防具・肩) をもらえます。

まえがき

AQ3D には数多くのデイリークエストがありますが、その中でもトップクラスに経験値・ゴールドの美味いものの1つは Burger Hero デイリーでしょう。3種類あるクエの内どれを選ぶかにもよりますが、クエストの過程でデイリータスク (Daily Task) の Craft an item をクリアできるのもポイント高いです。

このデイリーを開放するには、Burger Hero の一連のストーリーをクリアした上で、称号 “Part-Timer” を入手しなければなりません。というわけで早速開放してしまいましょう。

なお、前提クエやデイリーでクエスト目標となっているモブは、すべて scaled な (プレイヤーのレベルに応じて強さが変化する) タイプなので、ご安心ください。

Burger Hero へは、「Adventure Menu → Pizza Hero Horror Nights → Go to Burger Hero」「Adventure Menu → Side Stories → Burger Hero → Go to Burger Hero」等で飛べます。前者の方法であれば、店の目の前に直接転移できます。後者の場合、店の前の小道にテレポートします。

店内が明るくて見えにくいですが、よく見ると床が何ヶ所か光っているので、そこに立ちましょう。これを10回繰り返します。10ヶ所もないように見えるかもしれませんが、キラキラは一定時間経つと復活するので待っていれば大丈夫です。

なお、椅子の上の似たようなエフェクトは、ここをタップすると座れるという意味のものであり、クエストとは関係ないのでご注意ください。また、窓際にいる馬 (Sanitation STALLION) に近づきすぎると襲われます。殴られてもさほど痛くはないですが、面倒なので距離をとりましょう。

なんかいっぱいいますが、クエスト目標のモブは上に示した2種類だけで、ピーマン・唐辛子等は対象外です。

クラスに関しては、範囲攻撃で対象外のモブを巻き込んでしまうと面倒なので、ローグやサムライ、ドラゴンスレイヤーなど単体攻撃スキルの多い職がおすすめです。

Veggie を20匹倒したら、上に戻りましょう。梯子がありますが、「登る」コマンド等は不要です。そのまま梯子に突っ込めば上に飛べます。

Crustation Man に報告して終わりです。

Big Veg を1匹倒しましょう。

再び地下室に下り、矢印にしたがって左へ行くと、Big Veg がぽつんと佇んでいます。

矢印にしたがって地下室の奥へ行くと、クエスト対象の Chicken Cow がいます。これを5頭倒しましょう。

Massive Meat

Bull の肉を取ってきてくれとのこと。

クエスト対象の The Bull は Chicken Cow のいる辺りよりもさらに奥にいます。これを1頭倒しましょう。周りの Chicken Cow にも殴られますが、レベル相応の装備をつけていれば、HPポーションを飲みつつこちらが死ぬまでには倒せるはずです。

倒したら、上に戻って報告しましょう。

What’s Next?

「これからどうすればいいのかって？コーポレートラダーを登っていこう！Burger Hero Promotion Points を使ってランクアップしたり、ショップのアイテムにアクセスしよう！」

Crustation Man に話しかけて終わりです。これで一連のストーリーは完了です。

称号「Part-Timer」獲得

デイリー開放の条件は、ストーリー完了及び称号「Part-Timer」獲得でしたね。

というわけで早速ショップから購入……したいところですが、ストーリーでもらえる分だけでは残念ながらポイントが足りません。

仕方ありませんので、不足分の1ポイントを Repeatable (繰り返し受注可能) クエストで稼ぎましょう。

Do Odd Jobs

Crustation Man に話しかけ、“Do Odd Jobs” を開きましょう。3種類のクエストが出てきます。

クエストクリアでもらえるポイントは、すべて等しく1ポイントです。内容はどれもストーリークエスト中にやったものとほぼ同じで、Foot Lettuce と Where’s the Beef? に関しては量だけが増えています。

スイカ割りの気分を味わえます。どっち行けばええねん！

一応3つの内どれを受けても大丈夫ですが、Foot Lettuce に関してはストーリー中だと表示されていた目印がなくなっているので、案内の矢印しか頼りになるものがなく非常に面倒臭いです。したがって Collect Veggies か Where’s the Beef? を選ぶのが無難でしょう。

クエスト完了！

これで10ポイント貯まったので、称号を購入できます。Crustation Man に話しかけて Merch Shop を開き、Part-Timer をポチりましょう。

Purchase Successful!

先ほど購入したアイテムがインベントリに入っているので、これを使用しましょう。ついに称号をアンロックできました。

クエストのロックも解除されています。

Burger Hero のカウンターにいる Wandy に話しかけ、“Working at Burger Hero” を開きましょう。

3種類のクエストがありますが、報酬が最も美味いのは、“Work Shift: Full Shift” です。

Full Shift

Full Shift のクエスト内容は以下のとおりです。

• 化粧室でモブを5匹討伐
• 地下室でモブを20匹討伐
• キッチンで
  • Hero Burger を3個製作
  • Monster Burger を2個製作
  • Hero Pizza を1枚製作
  • Lil’ Hero Meal を1つ製作
  • Dricken Tendies を1つ製作
  • Hero Gyro を1個製作

Clean Bathroom

ストーリーのときと異なり、化粧室のモブは種類を問いません。小さいのでもデカいのでもどちらでも構いませんので、5匹倒せば OK です。

Prep Ingredients

地下室に関しても化粧室と同様です。レンジャー等で範囲攻撃をばら撒いて適当にモブを20匹倒しましょう。

また、デイリー中のみ敵を倒すと “Bunch of Ingredients” というトークンがドロップするので、その回収を忘れずに。後で料理を作るのに使います。

なお、クエストに必要なぶんよりも多くは拾えないようになっているので、余ることはありません。

地下室から上がり、キッチンの適当なコンロ？をタップすると…

料理の製作画面が出ます。

すべて craft し、1分待ちましょう。

出来上がったら claim を押して回収しましょう。

それぞれ Hero Burger は3個、Monster Burger は2個が必要です。同じことを繰り返しましょう。こちらもしっかりフールプルーフがなされており、各メニューで必要数以上に作ることはできないようになっています。

すべての工程を終了したら、Wandy に報告しましょう。以上でクエスト完了です。

Alpha Pirate	パイレーツのクラススキン。通常のパイレーツと異なり、アルティメットスキルを使用するとオウムの群れではなくBraken（クラーケンもどき）が召喚される。「ビチビチビチビチ（触手）」。Kickstarter で$60以上支援した方限定のもので、現在は入手不可
April Fool’s Day	エイプリルフールイベント。2024年は「チャーリーとチョコレート工場」パロのコンテンツが追加された
aq3d_fiend	AQ3D用語。ギルド「AE Federation」の Discord 鯖に立てられている、Fiend Lands ワールドボスのボス湧き告知スレ。告知の際はメンションや code の入力ミスをしないよう注意すること。さもなければ0.5秒で「ルールを読め」等のスタンプが付く
BiS, Best in Slot	一般的なゲーム用語。それぞれの部位（頭、手など）のベストな装備。特定のクラス (職) の BiS 、特定のステータスに特化した BiS 、PvP の BiS など。フランス語の bis とは別
brb	ネットスラング。Be right back. すぐ戻るよ
btw	ネットスラング。By the way の略。ところで〜。話変わるけど〜。そういえば〜。“btw i like your outfit” ところで、その衣装いいね！
Carnaval	カーニバルイベント。リオのカーニバルと同時期、毎年2月頃に開催される
cba	主に英国で使われるネットスラング。Can’t be arsed の略。めんどい、だるいの意。“Cba farming new drops” 新しいドロップアイテム掘るのだるい
code (AQ3D 用語の)	大抵 summon word (召喚呪文？) のこと。「メインメニュー → Friends → Summon Word」と開き、“Enter Friend’s Word” に他人のコード（dog14とかyellow72とか）を打ち込むと、その人のもとにワープできる。自分のものは上の “Send Word to Friend” ってとこに書いてある。自分の code が人と被ることはなく、またリログすると変更される。ワールドボス等の白チャ (一般チャット) でよく見る “code?” は「ボス付近まで転移したいんだけど、近くにいる人いたら、あなたの summon word 教えてくれると助かる」って意味。なお、自分のコードを共有しても、設定で「Allow Friend GoTo」にチェックを入れてないと他人が転移してこれないので注意すること
cosmetic	AQ3D用語。いわゆる衣装のこと。ステータスの付いていない、外見だけの装備
CPBoN	AQ3D用語。Crystal Phoenix Blade of Nulgath のこと
Crawling Caverns	Death’s Portal Room から入れるダンジョンの一つ。ソロでクラス経験値を稼ぐならここ
CS	AQ3D用語。クロススキル (cross skill) のこと
Curse Weaver Mage	メイジのクラススキン。スキルのエフェクトが Death of Games（ボス）や Dark Warlic のような毒々しいものになる
cxp	class xp の略。クラス経験値
Dark Warlic, Darlic	House of Oddities の Transdimensional Crystal から入れるマップ “The Pocket Dimension” のボス。Scaled なのでレベルを上げても難易度は変わらない。とにかく攻撃が痛い上にHPも結構高い。少なくとも、ヘイストの高いモグロマンサーであればソロ可能
DC (AQ3D 用語の)	課金通貨の Dragon Crystal のこと
dc (一般1)	disconnected の略。接続・回線が切れること
dc (一般2)	Discord の略
DS	AQ3D用語。大抵はクラス「ドラゴンスレイヤー」のこと。ただし Wasteland においては、NPC の Mysterious DragonSlayer を指す。例えば Wasteland の一般チャットで “red43 ds” というコメントがあった場合、これは「自分は今 Mysterious DragonSlayer の所にいるから、直にテレポートしたい人がいれば、自分の summon word は red43 だからそれを使ってここまで飛んできていいよ」という意味である
Dragon Samurai	サムライのクラススキン。通常のサムライとの違いは、斬撃のエフェクトが金色になる程度（一部を除く）
Dreadzard	AQ3D用語。主に House of Oddities の Odd Snow Globe から入れるマップ “Raimi County Forest” に出現するボス Gnarled Dreadzard をいう。倒すと複数種類のペットをドロップする
ez	easy の略。簡単、楽勝、余裕。“its ez drop no worries” 簡単に落ちるから心配せんでええよ
Fleshette	AQ3D用語。イベントダンジョン Nightmare Labyrinth 及び Fleshette’s Revenge のボス。ただ Fleshette といった場合、より難易度の高い Fleshette’s Revenge の方あるいはダンジョンそのものを指すことが多い。これらのダンジョンには Friday the 13th イベント期間中に Camp Gonnagetcha の Camp Cabin (宿泊小屋) のベッドから入れる。ちなみに、ステータスは異なるが、同様のモンスターは Scarbucks や Masquerade サブストーリーのマップにも出現する。なお、フレシェット弾やその英語名の由来となったフランス語のスペルは flechette
fr	ネットスラング。For real なら「マジで〇〇。マジで。それな」。For real? なら「マジで？」
Grenwog	イースターイベント、あるいはイベントダンジョンのボスを指す。ダンジョン等でイベントアイテムを集めてNPCに持っていくと、ウサ耳や尻尾などイースターバニーをモチーフにした衣装と交換してもらえる
Heroes Heart Day	バレンタインイベント
Holy Bolt	AQ3D用語。パラディンのクラスラングが10に到達すると解放されるクロススキル。デフォルトで回復スキルを持たない職にとっては、ポット以外の貴重な回復手段
HSRoD	AQ3D用語。武器 “Horrific ShadowReaper of Doom” のこと。現時点で実装されている中で最も攻撃力の高い武器だが、最大HPに強烈なデバフがかかる（-20%）
infusion	AQ3D用語。装備のステータスを上昇させる方法の1つ。概念的にはプラス値の増加が近い。Infuison の段階が上がっても成功確率が100%を下回ったりはしない
instance	オンラインゲーム用語のインスタンスのこと。このゲームにもインスタンスの概念はあり、通常は特定のサーバーにおいて1マップあたり1インスタンスしかないが、フィールドのプレイヤー人数が上限に近づくと新しいインスタンスが生成される。インスタンスのプレイヤー数が上限に到達すると、summon word や GoTo を使っても部屋から弾かれるようになる。ワールドボス等で異なるインスタンス間を飛び回ることを instance hopping という
/join	スラッシュコマンドの1つ。チャット欄に「スラッシュ スペース join 地域名」(打ち込んだらエンター)と入力すると、その地域にテレポートできる。ただし、この方法で転移可能な場所は限られる
Labyrinth	AQ3D用語。Sandsea の Great Pyramid のダンジョンのこと。Normal と Challenge の2種類がある。クエ担当NPC兼ボスがランプの精なので、Djinn Labyrinth や Djinn Challenge (難易度 Challenge の場合) 等とも呼ばれる。ルートを覚えるまではかなりキツいが、レベル上限が実装当時と比べだいぶ高くなっていることもあり、モブやボスを倒すのはそれほど難しくない。道さえ覚えたらソロ可能
lmk	let me know の略。例 “Lmk if u need help!”
Lucky Day	St. Patrick’s Day（聖パトリックの祝日）イベント。Clover Leaf を集めてNPCに持っていけば、シャムロック（≒ クローバー）をあしらった衣装等と交換できる
Lunar New Year	春節イベント。期間中のみ Darkovia のモブから Moonlight Biscuit（月餅っぽいアイテム）がドロップするようになる。これを集めてNPCに持っていくと、衣装や称号等と交換できる
Lychimera Challenge	Darkovia Forest の NPC、Hooper に話しかけると入場できる。Challenge にしては珍しくパーティー可となっており、クラス経験値稼ぎによく使われる
Mail	ゲーム内メール。2024年2月に実装された。Whisper と異なり、相手がオフラインでもメッセージを送ることができる
Mandible	AQ3D用語。Crypts of Misery に出現するボスの1つ。スポーン地点から湧き場所までの近さ、湧き時間の短さ、知名度の高さ等から、Dark Crystal Shards や Contract of Nulgath を掘るのに使われる。予測変換の関係で Mandibule (下顎) と打ち間違えやすい
mats	一般的なゲーム用語。materials の略で、ゲームにおける素材のこと
Menacing Stance	サムライのクラスランクが10に到達すると解放されるクロススキルで、効果は3秒間クリ率100％ 。詠唱中に動くとキャンセルされる。「キーーーン」
mmofashion.com	Droux 氏の運営するサイト。“Adventure Quest 3D” 、“RuneScape 3” 、“OldSchool RuneScape” の3ゲームの衣装がまとめられている
Moglo	AQ3D用語。クラス「モグロマンサー (Moglomancer)」のこと
Mogloween	AQ3D用語。いわゆるハロウィンイベントに当たる
np	ネットスラング。no problem. どういたしまして。ええんやで
pali, pally ほか	AQ3D用語。主にクラス「パラディン (Paladin)」を指す。攻撃を受け流すパリィ (parry) とは別
pauldron	pɔːldrən。一般英語。西洋甲冑の部位のうち、肩を守護するパーツ。spaulder より大型。ポールドロン。肩甲。
PBoN	AQ3D用語。Phoenix Blade of Nulgath のこと
PBoN II, PBoN2	AQ3D用語。Phoenix Blade of Nulgath II のこと。HPと攻撃力に特化している。タンク向け
pm (午後じゃない方)	ネットスラング。private message の略。“If anyone need help pm me”
portal (Wasteland の)	Wasteland から Ruins of Solace へ移動する入り口があり、かつ人型ワールドボスの湧き場所にもなっている場所のこと。白チャ (一般チャット) でよく見る “portal?” あるいは “portal code?” は「Portal 付近まで転移したいんだけど、近くにいる人いたら、あなたの summon word 教えてくれると助かる」って意味
PT	一般的なオンラインゲーム用語。パーティ（party）のこと。5人が基本。埋まり具合は 3/5 (5人PTの場合) のように表記する。白チャ (一般チャット) の “pt?” は、レイドボス等でパーティに空きあったら入れてって意味
red, blue, green, gold	AQ3D用語。4つあるサーバーのうち、それぞれ Red Dragon 、Blue Dragon 、Green Dragon 、Gold Dragon のこと
Ring of Doom (マップ)	20周年記念コンテンツの1つ。格闘技のリングのような場所でボスクラスの敵とひたすらタイマンし続ける場所で、22種類のうちいずれかのモンスターがランダムに湧く。Shovel Blade クエスト対象の The Underfaker はここに現れる。担当NPCが同じなせいで、Phoenix Blade のクエストとごっちゃになっている初心者さんを時折見かける
skorpienne	AQ3D用語。Sandsea の ダンジョン “Keeper of Death Sanctuary” のボス。ダンジョン自体は Normal と Raid の2種類がある。攻略動画を探す際は、ダンジョン名よりも skorpienne raid 等で探した方がいいかも。ギミックを理解しさえすれば Normal はクリアできる。レベルキャップが高くなり強力な武器も増えた現在なら、コツを掴めば Raid もソロ攻略可能
smh	ネットスラング。shaking my head の略。首を振って「やれやれ」と言っている感じ。信じられない！呆れた！残念だ。“24 hours to craft? smh” 製作完了まで24時間？やってらんねー
sol, void sol	AQ3D用語。主に Ruins of Solace に出現するデカい人型ワールドボスのことをいう。4種類がランダムに現れる。Void だけだと Wasteland に出現する方と区別しづらいので、ボス湧き告知の際などは注意すること
Spicy Jerky	飯（バフアイテム）の1つで、Lolosia の Junior Delbeau から Lolosian Crown を用いて購入できる。主な効果は Haste +20% 。モグロマンサーやバーサーカーにおすすめ
sup	スラング。What’s up? から。sup なら「よ」「おっす」sup? なら「調子どう？」「元気？」
tc	take care の略。もちろん「お大事に」の意味で使うこともあるが、単に別れの挨拶として用いる方が多い。「そろそろ行くわ。good luck」「おけ〜 tc」
tf	AQ3D用語。このゲームの主な移動手段である Travel Form のこと。馬やグライダー、“乗り物” 等と異なり、キャラクター自身が変身するのが特徴
tho	ネットスラング。though の略
ti	turn in の略。クエスト完了報告してくる、の意
Time Flies Transformation	Travel form (TF) の一つ。AFK マップで1440分間放置すると交換できる。Guardian でないプレイヤーにとって、おそらく最も早く入手できる永久使用可能なTFはイベント産以外だとこれ
tom	ネットスラング。tomorrow の略
TPBoN	AQ3D用語。Tainted Phoenix Blade of Nulgath のこと。anomaly weapon の1つで、攻撃力に特化している。HSRoD (Horrific ShadowReaper of Doom) の登場であまり使われなくなった
ty, thx, tks, tq, tysm	ネットスラング。Thank you あるいは Thanks あるいは Thank you so much の略
tyt	ネットスラング。Take your time. ごゆっくりどうぞ。急がんでええよ
Valnaroth	AQ3D用語。Valnaroth’s Lair に出現するボスのこと。ごく稀に Fiend Lycan Travel Form を落とす。この tf は non-Guardian のキャラクターでも使用できる
Vision of Guro	AQ3D用語。Kazebushi Island の NPC、Hensou に話しかけると戦うことができるボス。HPが異常に高い。倒すと、ペット “Gust of Wind” を落とす
void	AQ3D用語。主に Wasteland に出現するデカい人型ワールドボスのことをいう。4種類がランダムに現れる。Ruins of Solace に出現する方と区別すること
whitaker forest, heartwood dungeon	AQ3D用語。Heartwood Forest から入れるダンジョン、Whitaker forest のこと。単に Heartwood dungeon と呼ぶこともある。クラス経験値稼ぎでよく使われる
Wild Shout	バーサーカークラスランク10到達で解放されるクロススキルで、周辺のランダムな味方5人の Haste を4秒間 60% 上昇させる。「ブゥゥゥゥゥン！！！！」
wym, wdm, wdym	ネットスラング。What do you mean? どういう意味？（イライラしているとかではなく、純粋に意味を尋ねているだけのことが多い気がする）
XenoScythe Outcast	Lunar Surface に出現する緑色の宇宙人か宇宙生物のようなモンスター。月面の一般チャットでは単に Outcast と呼ぶこともある。4つのポップ地点のいずれかにランダムに湧き、それぞれ主に hybrid, mid, queen, spawn と呼ばれている。具体的には、Xenohybrid 付近に湧いた場合は hybrid 、プレイヤーのスポーン地点から見て正面方向に湧いた場合は mid 、Queen の背後の崖下に湧いた場合は queen 、プレイヤーのスポーン地点付近の右側に湧いた場合は spawn という。固有のドロップアイテムとしては、Vector Spacesuit セットが挙げられる

zerk, zerker	AQ3D用語。クラス「バーサーカー (Berserker)」のこと。HPが減るほど攻撃速度が上がりスキルのCTが短くなるパッシブスキルを持つ
